Retail inflation eases to 7.04% in May

•  The Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation rate for May 2022 has gone down to 7.04% 
• Inflation was above the Monetary Policy committee's medium- term target of 4 per cent, and this again questions the two recent hikes of interest rates by RBI
• CPI rate for April was 7.79%
• CFPI- Consumer Food Price Inflation rate for of May was 7.97% which is went down from April's 8.09%.
