Lightyear is a Dutch company founded in Netherlands in 2016. The company puts forward that the car can drive for weeks without having to charge it. The company claims that it has driven the car for 700 hours on a single charge of a 60 kilowatt-hour battery. The interior for the car, the Lightyear 0 is made using vegan and eco-friendly resources like plant based leather, fabric made from re-cycled PET bottles, and wooden deco elements. The company also plans on releasing an affordable model too. The production will be starting soon but it hasn't said anything about a launch in India.
