India has turned out to be a fast growing unicorn marketplace, which is prodding venture capital funds to help raise funds.
India focused funds may raise around $9.8 billion for the calendar year 2022. 18 India focused funds have already raised $1.74 billion. This shows that funds for investment is not an issue when Asia or India is concerned.
This is due to the market attractiveness and
most of the venture capitals have already deployed their earlier funds.
Other reasons for interest in India are stringent rules in China.Experts said that investments would flow in the late stage and growth stage companies but the early stage one would see a slowdown. Entire south east Asia region have grabbed investor attention.
