 What does 5G do that 4G does not?

- The device speeds are expected to be around 10 times faster than 4G. It has the ability to cover large areas and penetrate walls which will make it feasible to take network to the rural most places in India. 

Types of 5G

- 5G has three bands whose speed and reach vary. The Low band 5G, Mid band 5G (It is 6 times faster than 4G LTE, greater coverage than the other two and has the ability to penetrate through glass and walls), mmWave high band 5G (It is10 times faster than 4G LTE but does not have the ability to penetrate through walls). 

Radio frequency of 5G

- It falls between 28Ghz and 39Ghz. 

5G and machines

- 5G will not just be a ultrabroadband service but it will also enable connecting various industrial sensors and consumer wearables.

5G and radiation

- 5G is a low-frequency radiation and therefore is less harmful than other high frequency radiation waves. It is necessary that 5G is low-frequency because higher frequencies are less useful at delivering mobile signals at large areas.
