PW  101 St Unicorn after $100 mn fund raise 

PW   Physics Wallah is a edtech startup founded by Alakh Pandey   with an objective on preparation of NEET /IIT /JEE  .first it is started as a youtube channel in 2016 . It has become the 101st unicorn in India and it raised $100 millions at its 1st month and it use this funds to expand the business ,branding , and to open more learning centres ,and introducing extra courses . Currently they have 5.2 mn Google Play downloads , 6.9 mn subscribers in YouTube  channel . Now PW  is working on  launching an educationl content in 9 different languages  by focusing 250  mn students by 2025. 

In 2022 , India to be the 100 unicorns  with a total valuation of 333.27 bn . By considering the last 5 years , 2019,2020,2021 had the maximum number of unicorns . 7 unicorns were generated in 2019,11 unicorns in 2020, 44 unicorns in 2021.

A startup  can become unicorn in 6 months which  can long for 26 years . Mensa Brands take 6 months to become a unicorn in 2021, and it has become     one of the fastest unicorns in Asia .
