Tesla in India still a halt

The co-founder and CEO Tesla Elon Musk says Tesla will not start manufacturing in India unless they are allowed to sell their car and services first. India on the other hand does not want Tesla to sell or manufacture cars in India unless its sales starts in India first, and not in any other countries with includes China.

Manuj Khurana, the executive of Tesla who is in charge of India was hired for the domestic market entry plan in India. Due to India's restriction on the entry of Tesla in the Indian market he decided to resign from the company. Indian government restricts imports of Tesla cars from other countries and decides to charge a 100% import tax if they plan to do so. Tesla agreed a 40% tax on cars as the business focuses on a sustainable development too.

The car marker shifted its focus on other countries like Indonesia and Thailand, where they recently registered a unit to sell cars.
