TATA BUY COAL WORTH OF RS 12000 CRORE 

Tata owns 30 percent stake in the mine and is planning to buy coal worth of rs 12000 crore from Indonesia . Coal is priced at arm length basis Tata signed an agreement with PT kallim prima coal (KPC) for long term supply of coal .This transaction between 2 companies helps to smoothen the business operation and constituent flow of goods and services .

Tata power has sought the approval to give construction contract rs 2930 to Tata projects (an associate company ) Tata Power sell rolling steel , power to Tata Steel for its manufacturing facilities and distribution .
