Some State Government portals to start integration with ONDC soon.

•  Some state governments are looking to integrate their portals and also get MSMEs in their state on to the ONDC soon.
• Local start-ups are also trying to bring industries on to the ONDC platform. This will facilitate the MSMEs in the state.
• ONDC is also trying to integrate with other e-commerce platforms. Funds are being raised for the first stage of the project from 17 banks amounting up to  Rs.157.5 Cr.
• This will be set up as a Section 8 company (non-profit organisation).
• ONDC intends to increase GMV (GROSS MERCHANDISE VALUE) if digital transactions from from Rs 4.5 trillion annually to over Rs 7.5 trillion  in the next 5 years.
• Also planning to expand the coverage of retailers using digital commerce from 15,000 to more than 2 million in 5 years.
• It wants to expand the share of Indians using e-commerce from 90 million to more than 250 million users.
