Utility vehicles will come in big numbers this festive season which starts from navratri and ends with diwali. It is expected that this season accounts for the fifth of their annual sales.
The share of US had increased to 48 per cent in the PV market which overtook the 44 per cent share of passenger cars.
For FY23 the sales was expected to expand to 1.6 million unit from 976000 in 2018-19. Toyota will launch the Urban Cruizer, the Brezza in another make, and Maruthi will launch the Hyryder.
